Group Employee Benefit Plans

Plan Review

As group benefit plans are ever changing to meet the needs of both the employee and the employer, it is vital to keep a pulse on the plan, and the market in general. Open dialogue regarding your plan is essential to ensure your plan remains competitive in the employment field, and on your bottom line. This is achieved through frequent review of existing plan designs and plan audits every 3 years to ensure our clients have the most competitive and effective plan, unique to their needs.

Plan Design

Plan Design plays a key role in the success of an employee benefit program. It can dramatically affect the cost of the plan and perception of the value of the program, not only to the employer, but also to the employee. Great care is taken to ensure every design is created specific to the needs of each client, while maintaining integrity in respect to the cost of the program.

Quotation and Audits

Through established relationships with each of the insurance providers across Canada, a wide range of plan options including plan design and funding arrangements are available- including traditional and non-traditional programs. Detailed cost comparisons are provided, illustrating the financial, design and administrative variations between carriers. A full audit is conducted every 3 years via market comparison, to ensure your plan is performing to meet your needs.

Implementation

To alleviate the burden of re-enrollment during the implementation process, a dedicated Service Team is appointed to coordinate and administer the process. Information seminars and/or face to face employee meetings are conducted to ensure plan members are educated regarding the plan design and their responsibilities relating to the group plan. This creates an ease in the administrative duties of the Plan Administrator, relating to the implementation of a new group program.

Education

Understanding of the group plan allows plan members to be aware of the true value of the program. Education through third-party seminars allows staff to openly express their expectations and perceptions of the plan. Plan Administrator training is also a key asset to the value of the program, ensuring the management of the plan is kept up to date with the needs of the organization and its plan members.
